The Sensor Lab is where students are trained and practiced on various types of sensors and measurement and control systems in industrial and automation applications. This room is fully equipped with sensors, control systems and supporting equipment so that students can practice installing, connecting and applying sensors in many different fields.
1. Training content:
Temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors: Students learn about types of sensors that measure temperature, pressure, and humidity and how to use them in industry.
Optical sensors and proximity sensors: Applications in object detection, distance measurement, and control of automated systems.
Sensor calibration and testing: Learn how to calibrate sensors to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
2. Skills acquired
Understand the operating principles of sensors and their practical applications.
Design, install, and configure sensor systems connected to control systems.
Program to collect and process sensor data in automated applications.
Test, calibrate, and maintain sensor systems to ensure efficient operation
