On August 11, 2026, representatives of ETEK attended the scientific workshop “Orientation for Research, Application and Development of Selected Mechanical Engineering and Automation Products in Vietnam”, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The workshop brought together representatives from government agencies, research institutes, universities, academies, centers, experts, scientists and businesses to discuss research directions, technology application and the development of mechanical engineering and automation products in Vietnam.
ETEK was represented by Mr. Nguyen Trong Thuong – General Director of ETEK; Mr. Bui Thanh Tuan – Head of Training & Civil Project Deployment; and Mr. Le Thanh Lam – Head of Industrial Project Deployment.

At the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Trong Thuong – General Director of ETEK – shared the company’s perspective from practical business experience, emphasizing the importance of transforming broad research orientations into specific industrial challenges, practical application models and deployable products for both businesses and educational institutions.
ETEK highlights the importance of strengthening the connection between Government – Education – Industry as a key foundation for accelerating technology research, application and the development of high-quality technical talent, particularly in mechanical engineering, automation, mechatronics and smart manufacturing.

ETEK is bringing industrial technologies closer to classrooms through technical training equipment, didactic equipment, practical training systems and laboratory solutions designed around real-world industrial applications.
A key solution is FATS – Factory Automation Training Solutions, a compact smart factory training model integrating a wide range of industrial technologies, including PLC/PAC, Industrial Robotics, Vision AI, Servo, Smart Sensors, AGV, SCADA, MES, IoT and Digital Twin.
FATS provides a practical environment where students and trainees can explore industrial automation workflows, from control programming and equipment operation to system integration, monitoring and production management.
In addition to FATS, ETEK develops a comprehensive portfolio of mechanical, electrical, electronics and industrial automation training equipment, including PLC training systems, robotics training systems, pneumatic systems, motor control systems, measurement equipment and application-oriented training models.
These solutions are designed to support universities, colleges, vocational schools and technical training centers in developing modern laboratories and practical training environments aligned with current industrial requirements.

Following a development roadmap from technology adoption and system integration to application mastery and technology development, ETEK aims to deliver practical training solutions that help educational institutions continuously update their technical capabilities and prepare learners for the demands of modern manufacturing.
By connecting industrial technologies with technical education, ETEK Didactic contributes to narrowing the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial practice, while supporting universities and vocational institutions in developing highly skilled talent for mechanical engineering, automation and mechatronics.
