As part of ETEK’s enterprise-based Mechatronics Training Program, K29 students participated in the Design Thinking course from May 19 to May 22, 2026, with a specialized module focused on Industrial Machine Safety.
The training was delivered by Mr. Tran Le Linh, Head of Development and Quality Assurance at ETEK. The program was designed to help students establish a strong engineering mindset, enhance their understanding of safety in modern manufacturing environments, and develop a systematic approach to industrial automation.
As industries continue to embrace automation and smart manufacturing, machine safety has become an increasingly critical factor in the design, operation, and optimization of production systems. Beyond being a technical requirement, industrial safety is now recognized as a core standard for creating efficient, sustainable, and reliable manufacturing environments.
At ETEK, machine safety is not treated as a standalone theoretical subject. Instead, it is integrated directly into the principles of automation system design and operation. This approach helps students understand the engineering responsibilities involved in developing and managing industrial systems.
