Hanoi Vocational College

Case Study: ETEK Prepares to Deliver Technical Training Equipment System to Hanoi Vocational College

Project Overview

As part of its commitment to supporting vocational education institutions in enhancing the quality of hands-on training, ETEK is completing and preparing to deliver a technical training equipment system to Hanoi Vocational College.

The system includes a wide range of equipment serving various technical training fields, including Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Installation, Industrial Electricity, Electro-Pneumatics, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Sensors, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, and Thermal Engineering.

With a diverse range of equipment and practical training models, the system is designed to provide students with opportunities to directly interact with technical equipment, practice operation and wiring, and understand the operating principles of systems commonly used in technical and industrial environments.

The preparation for project handover further demonstrates ETEK’s capabilities in researching, designing, and manufacturing training equipment and didactic equipment in Vietnam, while supporting universities, colleges, and vocational education institutions in developing practice-oriented training environments.

A Diverse Technical Training Equipment System

The ETEK equipment system being prepared for handover includes various groups of practical training equipment, training models, and teaching support equipment, meeting different technical training requirements.

Electrical & Electronics and Electrical Installation Training Equipment

The Electrical & Electronics and Electrical Installation equipment group includes:

  • Advanced Electronics Training Bench
  • Controlled Rectifier Training Kit
  • Advanced Electronics Training Kit
  • Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Training Module
  • Electrical Installation Training Bench
  • Sensor Training Kit
  • Three-Phase Power Distribution Cabinet

These equipment systems support students in developing knowledge and skills related to electrical circuits, electronics, voltage control, variable frequency drives, sensors, and electrical distribution systems.

In particular, the electronics training bench, sensor training kit, and VFD training module provide learners with opportunities to perform practical exercises based on specific technical topics, helping connect theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience using real equipment.

Electro-Pneumatic Training Equipment

The system also includes an electro-pneumatic training unit for practical training in the principles and applications of pneumatic systems combined with electrical control.

Through hands-on exercises, students can learn how electrical and pneumatic components work together within a control system, gradually developing an understanding of drive and control systems used in industrial production.

The integration of electro-pneumatic training content also expands the scope of practical learning, supporting fundamental technical training as well as applications in industrial environments.

Transformer Substation and Electrical System Training Models

In addition to modular training equipment, the project includes models for training in electrical systems and power supply, including:

  • Low-Voltage Transformer Substation Model (Pole-Mounted Type)
  • Three-Phase Power Distribution Cabinet
  • Electrical Installation Training Bench

These equipment and training models provide students with opportunities to explore the structure of electrical systems, power distribution principles, and fundamental components of power supply systems.

Combining training benches with electrical system models helps create a stronger connection between fundamental knowledge and visual, hands-on learning.

Pump Station Model and Electromechanical Equipment

The equipment package also includes a pump station model, expanding the training content to electromechanical systems and equipment control applications.

In addition, an air compressor with a storage tank provides a compressed-air source for practical applications while allowing students to become familiar with equipment commonly found in pneumatic systems and production lines.

The combination of the pump station model, air compressor, and control equipment creates a diverse practical training environment, enabling learners to approach technical systems from a more comprehensive perspective.

Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Thermal Engineering Training Equipment

Another notable group of equipment in the project consists of systems for refrigeration, air conditioning, and thermal engineering training, including:

  • Drying Cabinet
  • Hot Water Tank Demonstration Model
  • Wall-Mounted Split Air Conditioner
  • Ceiling-Mounted Split Air Conditioner

These systems provide students with opportunities to practice and understand the structure, operating principles, and components of thermal, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems.

The inclusion of both wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted air-conditioning systems provides greater diversity in equipment configurations, reflecting different applications in real-world environments.

Interactive Display for Training Support

In addition to specialized technical equipment, the system is also equipped with an interactive display to support teaching activities and content presentation in classrooms and practical training rooms.

The combination of teaching support tools with hands-on training equipment helps create a more visual and engaging learning environment, where theoretical content can be connected directly with real equipment and training models.

Benefits for Practical Training

Diversifying Training Content

The system covers a wide range of technical areas, from Electrical & Electronics, Variable Frequency Drives, and Sensors to Electro-Pneumatics, Refrigeration, and Thermal Engineering, enabling the delivery of diverse practical training programs.

Enhancing Hands-On Training

Rather than relying solely on theoretical knowledge, students have opportunities to directly interact with equipment, models, and technical systems throughout their learning process.

Exposure to Real-World Technical Equipment

Equipment such as air compressors, power distribution cabinets, transformer substation models, air-conditioning systems, and pump station models allows learners to become familiar with equipment commonly applied in technical and industrial environments.

Supporting the Development of Vocational Skills

Through practical exercises, students can gradually develop skills in observation, wiring, operation, inspection, and understanding the operating principles of technical systems.

Building a Visual and Practice-Oriented Training Environment

The integrated investment in training equipment and didactic equipment contributes to creating a training environment that combines theoretical learning with hands-on practice, supporting the development of students’ vocational skills.
