As part of the collaboration between ETEK and Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), the Smart Factory Training Center has been developed to bring industrial automation technologies and modern manufacturing concepts into hands-on technical education.
The training environment features a range of equipment organized into functional areas, including the FATS (Factory Automation Training Solutions) system, MES and SCADA demonstration displays, an automated guided vehicle (AGV), a conveyor system integrated with a Bosch Rexroth PLC, and industrial electrical, PLC, and pneumatic training equipment.
By bringing these technologies together in one learning environment, the center enables learners to explore industrial systems through practical activities, understand operating principles, and examine how different technologies work together in manufacturing processes
FATS (Factory Automation Training Solutions) introduces learners to an integrated automated production line consisting of interconnected functional stations.
Through hands-on training, learners can explore how individual stations coordinate within a production process, understand control principles, and examine the relationships between different components of an automation system.

The MES and SCADA demonstration displays introduce learners to the role of digital technologies in production management and industrial monitoring.
MES (Manufacturing Execution System) supports the management and monitoring of manufacturing operations. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), meanwhile, is used to supervise industrial processes, monitor operating conditions, and collect operational data.
